I am Hicham, founder of SAHARYTRIP. Born in Agadir, in the heart of the beautiful Souss region, I am a true Chleuh Berber. For us, hospitality is not a profession, it's second nature: I literally grew up immersed in the world of tourism and transport, following the rhythm of a family passionate about welcoming guests.
28 years ago, I left Morocco to pursue my studies in France. After more than two decades leading international projects, the promise to return to my roots never wavered. With 25 years of experience and travels around the world, I decided to put all this expertise at the service of a clear vision: fairer, more inclusive and profoundly human tourism for my Souss region.
I am not alone in this adventure: a wonderful team, partners and close ones share this same deep connection with our project and this land. SAHARYTRIP is the bridge between my story, my parents' legacy, my team's richness and my desire to help you discover an authentic Morocco, with complete confidence.

SAHARYTRIP was born from a simple conviction: travel should above all be a human, sincere and memorable experience. But behind this digital adventure lies above all a story of transmission, heritage and passion.
The platform was conceived as a tribute to the late EL HAJ Lahcen AIT OUJMID, founder of the MAOUASSIM VOYAGES group and a recognised figure in Moroccan tourism, who devoted over 55 years of his life to serving travellers and promoting Morocco as a destination with passion, high standards and elegance.
Long before the digital era, he had already understood the essential: tourism is not just about selling a trip. It's about creating an emotion, trust and an experience that stays engraved in memory. Through his professionalism, his vision and his deep sense of service, he passed on to us a true philosophy:

« My first memory is the smell of warm bread at 5am at my father's aunt's house in Ait Milk, his birthplace in the Chtouka region. »
I was born in Agadir in 1976 into a very humble family, driven by the immense ambition of a father who was taking his first steps in the world of tourism. He cut his teeth at one of the biggest operators of the time, Holiday Services, before joining a travel agency in Inezgane. You could say I was born while my father was already fully immersed in this world. From a very young age, I also rolled up my sleeves: by the age of 12, I was already serving Moroccan tea. At 17, I was independently roaming the Agadir region, exploring the beaches of Taghazout and Tamraght, whether with school friends or neighbourhood mates. It was in 1998 that I finally left the family nest to pursue engineering studies, a field completely different from the world of tourism and travel agencies that had shaped my childhood.
