- Note: If you are traveling with children, the donkey ride in Tiout is the must-do activity that makes the excursion fun for them.
- Cash (Dirhams): for small purchases in the souks, tips, or the donkey ride (about 30 to 50 DH/person)
- Camera: the landscapes of the palm grove and the “goats in the argan trees” on the road are very photogenic
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat: the sun is strong, especially in Taroudant where temperatures often exceed 30°C from May onwards
