The ascent of Jebel Toubkal (4,167 m) is the ultimate challenge for hiking enthusiasts in Morocco. This 6-day circuit transports you to the heart of the High Atlas, between grand mineral landscapes and verdant valleys.

Practical information:
- Level: Athletic (sustained days of walking, early starts).
- Storage: Free luggage storage for your excess bags at our Imlil base.
- Equipment: Rental available on site (Crampons €10, Ice axe €5, Sleeping bag €8, Boots €10, etc.).
Typical menu:
- Morning: Full breakfast (bread, fruits, coffee, juice).
- Lunch: Fresh lunch (mixed salads, starchy foods, fruits).
- Evening: Traditional hot dinner (soup, tagine or couscous).
Please note that meals are prepared by Berber muleteers. The food is fresh and healthy.

Important information
- NB: Depending on snow conditions in the high mountain passes, this trek may not be available until early June.
- Accommodation will be a mix of camping, gites, and mountain refuges.

- 3 to 4 season sleeping bag (winter) or light sleeping bag (summer)
- Light waterproof pants / rain pants

Excursion program
Step 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tacheddirt
Immersion in the Atlas
- Departure: Morning transfer from Marrakech to Imlil via Asni.
- Meeting: Welcome by the muleteer team and loading of equipment.
- The ascent: Direct climb towards the Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,279 m).
- Descent: Passage through the authentic village of Ouaneskra.
- Arrival: Final walk to Tacheddirt (2,300 m).
- Night: Bivouac by the river or local gîte.

- Walking: 5 to 6 hours.
- Distance: ~ 8 km.
- Meals: Full board.
Stage 2: Tacheddirt – Azib Likemt
The mineral and panoramic challenge
- The effort: Long and technical ascent towards the Tizi Likemt pass (3,555 m).
- Terrain: Demanding climb through the unstable scree of the massif.
- Reward: Breathtaking panorama of the Toubkal peaks from the pass.
- Descent: Long dive towards the high-altitude sheepfolds.
- Arrival: Setting up the bivouac at Azib Likemt.

Step 3: Azib Likemt – Tizi n'Ourai – Amsouzert
The crossing of contrasts

- The setting : A long but smooth day through varied landscapes.
- The immersion : Descent towards the verdant valley of Amsouzert.
- Arrival : Local life and Berber hospitality in a village gîte.

Step 4: Amsouzert – Lac d’Ifni
The blue pearl of the Atlas

- The setting: A deep water mirror surrounded by monumental rocky walls.
- Relaxation: Arrival for lunch, free afternoon to recover and refresh.
- Arrival: Wild camping under the stars by the water.

Step 5: Lac d’Ifni – Tizi n'Ouanoums – Refuge du Toubkal

- The scenery : A narrow, mineral corridor between the giants of the Atlas.
