• Preparing the surface: learning on cedar or lemon wood.
• Alchemy of colors: discovery of natural pigments (saffron for yellow, poppy for red, indigo for blue) and their mixture with egg or skin glue.

Choice of Pattern and Geometric Tracing

• The style: selection between floral arabesque (Tawriq) or pure geometry (Tastir).
• The transfer: learning techniques for transferring the pattern onto wood using traditional stencils or compasses.
