Welcome and secrets of the king-tree:

• Traditional mint tea welcome.
• History of the Argan tree, unique in the world.
• Understand the role of humans... and climbing goats.

Crushing: the precision test:

• Use two stones to break the hard shell; Extract the kernel intact without hitting your fingers.
• Hafida shows you the necessary rhythm and dexterity.

Roasting (for culinary oil):

• The kernels are lightly roasted.
• A smell of toasted hazelnut fills the room.

Pressing and extraction:

• The kernels are ground to obtain a paste
• Addition of a drizzle of warm water to separate the oil.
• Press the paste by hand to see the golden oil bead.

The gourmet reward

• Taste the oil while still warm with fresh bread.
• A convivial moment of exchange on the virtues of the product.

Important information

• Do not eat too much before the workshop
• Prefer clothing that covers shoulders and knees, and avoid low-cut tops for women.
• In Morocco, men and women shake hands but do not kiss on the cheek.
• We eat with the right hand (except when using a fork).
• Remove your shoes before walking on a carpet
